FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I come alone?

Yes - you'll join in our socially interactive rotation system, changing partners and meeting new Salsa friends along the way.

Any experience needed?

Not at all! We cater our classes from the total novice to expert. Whether you have never danced before (let alone doing Salsa), or have had a taste before, we have a class for you.

What clothing should I wear?

Regular Venues: Cool, casual clothing.
Ladies: Jeans, trousers or skirts with tops or bodies.
Gents: Jeans, trousers with shirt or T-shirt.
Party Nights/Special Events: Impressive, but ready to salsa!

What shoes should I wear?

Avoid trainers, you'll stick to the floor. Light shoes with a non-grip sole and low heel for men and medium for ladies are best. As you improve you will appreciate the benefits of professional Salsa shoes.

Must I book before coming?

No - just drop in whenever you want, but coming weekly is the best way to learn Salsa effectively.

Do you run Salsa Clubs as well as Classes?

Yes - straight after class, Steve has his unique way of keeping the dance floor busy for everyone to practice what they've learned in the lesson, or just dance.

When shall I move to the next level class?

The best way to find out when you are ready to move to the next level is to talk to your instructor - you will receive an honest advice and a full guidance on when and how to do it.
