I started dancing in 2008. Being told from a friend about a local salsa night I went along intending to just see what it was all about and to watch. However I found myself being asked to dance and after some persuasion I found myself being led onto the dance floor. I was mesmerised and amazed by all the fabulous dancers and wishing I was as good as them.

Just one night and I was hooked! I carried on going to the salsa nights and went to Inn On The Lake Hotel and met Steve Eden. I continued to enjoy Steve’s classes, and making new friends. I came to realise Salsa had become something I NEEDED to do. I’m never happier than when I’m dancing (my family would tell you I’m addicted! I think they could be right!).

It was October 2010 when I checked my messages on Facebook one day and nearly cried! I’d received a message from Steve asking if I wanted to teach. I couldn’t believe it! But quickly said yes! I walked around in a daze for about a week! It had always secretly been my dream. Being able to teach makes me happy as I want to give back all the help and guidance I have been given from day one.
