"Never been to dance schools or done performances at known named places like Jayne, my background for dancing comes from years ago in the R'n'b and Hip Hop scene - in the clubs! This definitely rings true now!

R'n'b and Hip Hop has definitely helped me to grasp salsa instantly and with ease (being predominantly self taught). What helped was recognising that the breaks, beats, stops and starts were very similar to R'n'b and Hip Hop. I have now been teaching salsa since the September 2001. Now, within our own company, learning and finding out more and more new things everyday is hard work but hey its also fun, fun, fun!"
